For Malaysia, Royal Alloy has launched its range of 2024 Royal Alloy Youth Edition scooters. Entering the Malaysian scooter market are the Royal Alloy GP250, priced at RM13,800 for Youth Edition and RM22,800 for solid colour, GP180 ABS at RM17,300 for Youth Edition and RM16,300 for solid colour, and GP125 CBS tagged at RM13,800 for Youth Edition and RM12,800 for solid colour, with all pricing excluding road tax, insurance and registration.
The Youth Edition is a selection of scooters from the Royal Alloy range that come with see-through bodywork, with the GP250 coming with Blue and Green transparent engine covers. Meanwhile, the standard colours for the GP250 are Sherwood Green and Scotland Grey.
For the GP180 ABS, there are six model variants to choose from, including there Blue clear bodywork version. The other colour choices are Pink, Modern Orange, High Class Grey, Sherwood Green Matte, and Matte Bronze.
Rounding out the range is the GP125 CBS, with five colour variants. The Ivory variant comes with a transparent engine casing, while Ivory White, Flame Red, Matte Black and Pink are the solid colour choices.
Topping the range, the GP250 comes with a single cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine displacing 244 cc. Engine power is listed at 24.8 hp at 7,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 19.0 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
Braking is with hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, with ABS coming as standard equipment. Weight for the GP250 is 152 kg while 10.5-litres of fuel is carried in the tank.
For Royal Alloy’s mid-range, the GP180 ABS carries a 169 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Power is claimed to be 10.2 hp at 7,250 rpm with 10.6 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm.
The GP180 ABS comes with ABS braking on hydraulic discs while suspension is done with telescopic forks and shock absorber at the rear. Weight is listed at 130 kg with 10.5-liters of fuel in the tank.
Finally, the GP125 CBS gets a 125 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder mill with 9.8 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9.2 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. With combined braking system, the GP125 CBS weighs 130 kg with 10.5 litres of fuel carried onboard.
