Hanway Malaysia today announced the launch of its new ‘B’ series, a lineup of motorcycles that combines vintage aesthetic design with contemporary engineering. The Boober or ‘B’ series is being introduced for the first time in the Malaysian market, starting with the Heritage 400 model. The Heritage is designed for motorcycle enthusiasts who desire a bobber-style machine that embodies both classic features and luxury.
This new model is powered by a 401cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine, delivering up to 41.5hp at 9,500rpmand 34Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. Classic styling is evident in the round-shaped LED headlight, side mirrors, and instrument panel. The rear light is integrated with the turn signals for a seamless design.
The riding position is comfortable. With a saddle height of 690mm, this motorcycle is accessible to a wide range of riders. Weighing just 198kg, the Heritage offers easy handling for both urban commuting and highway cruising. One of its highlights is the ease with which the rear seat can be removed or reattached, making it suitable for solo or two-up riding.
The front tyre measures 130/90-16 and the rear 150/80-16, paired with disc brakes (300mm at the front and 255mm at the rear) with ABS. The front suspension uses a telescopic fork, while the rear features dual spring shock absorbers.
The Hanway Heritage 400 is priced at RM22,800 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration fees) and is available in two color options: Gloss Black and Matt Black.
